Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) gave me my life back - and there is not an ounce of exaggeration in that statement.
Life Before Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
I had been struggling with ulcerative colitis, an autoimmune condition also known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease for over 20 years. For most of that time I was sick, anxious, depressed and scared about my future. Ulcerative colitis (UC) affected every aspect of my life and even made me question my existence.
I found RTT at a critical time in my life. Tests had revealed I needed invasive and extensive surgery to remove my entire colon (large intestine) because the UC had created extensive scar tissue along my bowel from years of repeated flares, bleeding and continuously painful symptoms. The internal damage had made my bowel so narrow that a tiny child-sized scope could not safely go through to perform a routine colonoscopy. With a potentially life-threatening blockage imminent, doctors told me surgery was my only option.
Living with Ulcerative Colitis - Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Prior to this shocking news, I had already endured years of terrible flares that were a daily cycle of continuous pain and bleeding, anemia, body aches, fatigue, fear of eating or leaving the house, anxiety, depression, hair loss, brain fog, terrible sleep quality, an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and deep despair that I was never going to be able to have a happy, healthy life or fulfill my dreams.
Leaving the house filled me with panic and dread which made driving in the car, holding down a job, going out for meal, or the movies, or even a simple walk an incredibly difficult and stressful task. While I would join my family and friends on outings where I could, I would often starve myself as I watched everyone else relish their food. At my sickest, one morsel of food was enough to have me rushing towards the bathroom panicking I wouldn't make it in time. While there were some small pockets of remission or low-grade symptoms during this period, my life was ruled by UC.
From the time I was diagnosed, my parents and I tried a million different things to get better but the end result was always the same. I would see some improvement and just when I thought I had turned a corner the UC would come raging back with a vengeance which was followed by another grueling cycle of steroids (usually at higher dosages and for a longer time), stronger medications, iron infusions (as I was losing so much blood) or hospitalisation until I stabilised.
RTT Works - It Was A Miracle For Me
I mean it when I say RTT changed my life. Prior to RTT, I had endured over 2 decades of failed attempts to heal and regain my health. When I first found RTT, I was discovering the wonders of the mind/body connection. I found amazing books and watched YouTube video by brilliant thought leaders including Marisa Peer, Dr. Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden. Their words made me realise it was something that I had never really considered - that I had an ability within me to heal my body and there was something within me blocking that.
RTT taught me that healing of the body (or any area of your life) fundamentally starts within the mind and that the mind is equally responsible in many cases for creating disease (dis-ease) as well.
As I learned more about RTT and myself in my sessions, I realised that I was unknowingly holding on to things from my past that were still impacting me negatively in the present. This is what in RTT we call the root cause.
Understanding the root cause of an issue is vital for transformation of any kind. Once you address that, and can piece together how your belief systems have led you down a particular path, that new awareness is truly empowering, transformative and life-changing.
You can treat symptoms all you want but without understanding the root cause it is like mowing the weeds in your garden without pulling them out by the roots. While mowing may temporarily make your garden look neater, the weeds will inevitably grow back because their underlying source remains strong and intact. Similarly, addressing only the surface-level symptoms of a problem without delving into its deeper origins may provide temporary relief, but the issue is likely to resurface until the underlying causes are identified and addressed. Just as we need to uproot weeds to prevent their return, understanding and tackling the root cause of a problem is essential for long-lasting solutions and genuine change and healing.
So it doesn't matter how much you do in terms of diet, exercise, supplementation, visualisation, meditation, sleep, prayer, positive thinking, working hard to accomplish your goals, or whatever it is - as long as your mind retains a core belief system that works against you you're going to stay stuck.
However, when your mind is aligned with your wants, goals and desires with strong, supportive beliefs, that wonderful level of coherence will amplify and support everything else you do in your life to reach your goals and achieve success.
That's because change happens in our subconscious mind, the part of us that runs on autopilot whereas when you try to deliberately create change through your conscious mind (your analytical, decision-making mind) you're unlikely to have success and most likely will to revert to old patterns because your conscious mind isn't where change happens.
By resetting your subconscious and mastering your mindset, you're more likely to see incredible results. Change, healing and having the life you want is all about having a clear, aligned and coherent mindset.
My Life Today
I wake up grateful every day now that I have the energy, health and confidence to do things again and live my life - something I wasn't able to do for over 20 years! I still have moments where I need to check myself from defaulting to certain feelings or past negative patterns but that level of awareness means I am no longer blindly running on "old programs" or on autopilot and can make better decisions and choices.
I recently got back from the most amazing holiday to Japan with my hubby and family and we had such a wonderful time! Having the freedom to travel, eat delicious food in restaurants, take long train rides and sit on buses, visit Mount Fuji, go on a cable cart ride with no bathrooms and then walk the streets of Tokyo for hours was such a liberating experience and I felt such gratitude for my body doing such a great job.
On previous trips, I was always panicking every step of the way and would spend most of the time in my hotel room, starving myself if I knew I would be on the road for long periods of time or in malls so I knew I could get to a bathroom quickly. The time I ate, what I ate, when or how long I slept - everything used to affect my gut and made it incredibly hard for me to enjoy anything about holidays or travelling but this was one holiday I will always have fond memories of!
I cannot put into words what it is like to have my freedom back and not live in constant fear. I have learned to trust my body again and know that I am capable of great things - that is the power of RTT and learning to harness your mind.
Exploring the Transformative Power of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
My transformation from terrified to thriving got me thinking about how many other people endure and suffer thinking that they have no choice over the present circumstances. As I began sharing my story, I felt pulled to become a certified RTT practitioner and therapist.
Given my personal struggles and triumphs, lows and highs, I feel strongly that people need to know they have choices - no matter their current situation.
So many of us grow up in a world that makes us believe that joy, happiness, good health, success and wealth are just for a lucky, privileged few. My Mum used to often say to me "You will always receive what is in your destiny". Well that's great if your destiny involves a happy, wonderful life but it certainly isn't what you want to hear when your life sucks. I also know now that it isn't true. It's just a notion that makes it easier to accept your poor circumstances or give up when the odds are against you. It takes away all your power - and I'm not alright with that.
Many of the messages, ideas and beliefs that we hear from others in our childhood become our own, even if they're not true, holding us back and paving the way for negative events and circumstances that we blindly believe are simply "life".
That's why I love RTT, it releases negative patterns, experiences and blocks that have been imprinted in your mind so that you can live the life you want.

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?
Rapid Transformational Therapy, or RTT, is a groundbreaking, science-based therapeutic approach developed by the renowned therapist, speaker and author Marisa Peer. RTT is recognised internationally and has won awards for its profound, fast and dynamic approach that delivers lasting results.
It combines the most effective elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, neuropsychoimmunology, neurolinguistic programming and hypnotherapy, to create a holistic and transformative healing experience. RTT operates on the principle that your mind plays a pivotal role in shaping your thoughts, behaviors and wellbeing - and that many emotional and psychological issues stem from past experiences and beliefs deeply rooted in the subconscious mind.
RTT is unique from other forms of counseling or therapy which do not work with the subconscious mind which is where our deep-seated feelings, blocks and beliefs lie.
People tell me all the time, that avoiding surgery and healing my body was "amazing" and that there is something unique about me that they don't see in themselves. While I defied tremendous odds, the truth is, every one of us can do the same when we're given the right mental support and you truly want it.
Sometimes RTT is described as hypnotherapy on steroids because we're able to unpack so much in a session, release long-held blocks and reset the mind for positive lasting change. This is because we use key aspects of several disciplines to tailor a personalised therapeutic approach to get the best results.
How Does RTT Work?
The RTT process typically involves several steps:
Assessment: This consists of the Client Intake Form and the Discovery Call. During the free 25-30 minute assessment, I get to know you and gain an understanding of the client's issues, concerns, and goals. This initial conversation helps build a foundation for the RTT session that sets you up for success.
Hypnosis: The RTT session will begin and I will guide you into a relaxed state of hypnosis. Despite what you might have seen or read; this is simply a wonderfully suggestive yet fully aware state - you are still in control of your actions. Hypnosis is essential to access the subconscious mind, making it receptive to positive suggestions and insights.
Regressions: During hypnosis, I will guide you back to pivotal moments in your past that might have contributed to your current challenges. By revisiting these memories, we identify the origin of your beliefs as well as gain new perspectives and understanding.
Reframing: Here we focus on reinterpreting past events and altering their perception to diminish their negative impact. This process helps to create new neural pathways and beliefs that are aligned with your desired outcomes. This stage is also incredibly healing as old emotions are released to make way for positive new emotions and beliefs.
Transformation: The newly formed positive beliefs are reinforced through your personalised audio recording. The mind loves repetition so listening to your transformation is an important part of the process.
On-going Support: I want you to succeed and will follow up with you and support you on your new journey.
The Transformative Power of RTT & Hypnotherapy
Rapid Transformational Therapy stands out for its ability to bring about profound change in a relatively short period. Traditional counseling can take weeks, months and even years. With RTT and the use of hypnotherapy, we are able to access the part of the brain where change happens to produce results (depending on the issue) in only 1-3 sessions. As we address deep-seated beliefs at their source, RTT empowers you to rewrite your story and embrace healthier thought patterns to support your desired outcome.
If you're seeking a powerful approach to personal growth and healing, RTT could be the transformative tool you need.
The Transformative Benefits of RTT - How can it help you?
Break Free from Limiting Beliefs
One of the most remarkable aspects of RTT is its simple but profound ability to help you break free from limitations that have held you back for years - maybe your whole life. Through the process of reviewing how your past events have affected your beliefs and reframing them, we can replace your self-sabotaging thoughts with empowering ones. This newfound mental clarity and self-belief has a ripple effect, positively impacting every aspect of your life.
It is so easy for our young, impressionable minds to take on the beliefs of others as our own without contemplating if they are true or not because when we are children we look outside ourselves to tell us who we are and where we fit into the world.
Overcome Emotional Trauma
Many individuals carry emotional wounds from past experiences that continue to affect their lives. RTT offers a safe and effective way to address and heal these emotional traumas. By revisiting and reframing traumatic memories, you can release emotional baggage and experience freedom and liberation.
Enhance Your Self-Esteem and Confidence
Low self-esteem and lack of confidence can deeply affect the quality of our relationships, hinder personal growth and hold us back from success. RTT can help boost your self-esteem by uncovering the underlying reasons for your self-doubt and transforming them into calm self-assurance so you can approach life with newfound confidence and resilience.
Manage and Relieve Stress and Anxiety
Stress and anxiety is a common consequence of living in today's fast-paced world. RTT equips you with valuable tools to manage and alleviate these stressors. By addressing the root causes of your anxiety, you can experience a greater sense of calm and control in your life.
Is RTT Right for You?
Rapid Transformational Therapy is a versatile and effective approach that can benefit you whether you're struggling with health issues, relationship issues, career setbacks, fears or personal insecurities. RTT can offer you the support and guidance needed to overcome your challenges. It's a dynamic tool if you're seeking to unlock your full potential and lead a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
To sum up, Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a fusion of results-driven techniques to address your issues, blocks and challenges. Through the process of hypnosis, regression, and reframing, RTT empowers you to break free from limitations, enhance your mental well-being, and unlock your true potential.
